Modular Switches
Switch modules for lighting and appliance points.
Modular switches are built up from separate switch modules that clip into a plate over a gang box, instead of being one fixed unit. That is what makes a switchboard easy to change: a module can be swapped, or a point added, without redoing the wiring behind it. Vishal makes the switches and the gang boxes they sit in.
Switch modules clip into a plate over the gang box, so a board can be changed a module at a time.
Ask your Vishal retailer which options are stocked.

Because each function is a separate module, one board can carry the switches, sockets and other modules a room actually needs — and a single faulty module can be replaced on its own rather than changing the whole plate.
A switch point is the switch module, the plate and box it mounts into, and the wire running back to the board.
